i'm jocelynn.
i'm jocelynn.
Not to bore you, but since you’ve made it this far, here’s a little about me.
I got a diploma in Visual Merchandising Arts. What's that? Exactly.
I spent hours putting together window displays and learning about retail. I also took creative copywriting courses in college.
Professors thought I was too informal, and they were right.
I take the same approach to my work now, but this time, people actually get it.
My tone? Think of it as the work-from-home blazer and sweatpants combo. Polished when it needs to be, playful when it can be, and always tailored to fit the brand.
I’d say I’ve been pretty darn lucky in the job department or maybe it’s just that I’m a personality hire.
My first gig out of the gate was as a junior copywriter at Hudson’s Bay.
I had my Carrie Bradshaw moment when I launched Five to Nine, a blog where I wrote after hours. It’s not as scandalous as it sounds—mostly wellness, with future edits on beauty, fashion, and lifestyle.
To wrap it up with some name-dropping, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with Canadian brands like Knix and Gee Beauty, working with talented teams that helped me level up and bring fresh ideas.
When I’m not glued to my antique desk with my laptop and oversized teacup, you can find me watching cringe-worthy reality TV, vintage shopping or seeking the perfect butter-poached carrot recipe.
